Wagner leads All-Area 2nd Team

Carlie Wagner, sophomore, setter, NRHEG

Carlie Wagner was the area’s most athletic volleyball player this season and led New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva with 143 solo blocks for 61 points, the fourth most in a season in school history.

The sophomore finished second on the team with 252 kills, served at 89 percent with 22 aces and recorded 70 digs.

Kelci Larson, junior, middle hitter, Lake Mills

Kelci Larson was named North Iowa Conference Honorable Mention this season after finishing with 145 kills, third most for Lake Mills.

The junior served at a 96 percent clip and notched 42 aces. She had 106 digs and 69 blocks.

Catherine Adams, senior, middle hitter, Lake Mills

Catherine Adams was named to the All-North Iowa Conference Second Team this season after recording 125 kills for Lake Mills.

The senior had the highest kill efficiency of the team’s hitters and served at a 97 percent clip with 39 aces.

Adams recorded 165 digs, the third most on the team and a team-high 71 blocks.

Annie Ladwig, sophomore, outside hitter, Albert Lea

Annie Ladwig was named Big Nine All-Conference Honorable Mention this season after leading Albert Lea with 161 kills.

The Tigers’ sophomore served at a 93 percent clip and notched 14 ace serves while recording a team-high 182 digs. Ladwig received serves at 87 percent.

Allie Voigt, senior, middle hitter, United South Central

Allie Voigt was named Gopher All-Conference this season after leading United South Central with 308 kills.

The senior captain served at an 85 percent clip with 39 aces and recorded 76 blocks.
