Ryan Schulz and Sara Engelby, of Albert Lea, announce the birth of a son, Blake Ryan Schulz, on Jan. 1, 2012, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea. Blake weighed 5 pounds, 10 ounces and was 18 inches long.

Grandparents are Darwin and Dawn Engelby and Cindy Schulz, of Albert Lea. Great-grandparents are Vincent and Kathryn Engelby, of Albert Lea.

 

Vinod and Alka Patel announce the birth of a daughter, Prachi V. Patel, on Jan. 20, 2012, in Albert Lea. Prachi weighed 6 pounds, 3 ounces and was 20.51 inches long. She joins siblings Priya and Parth.

Grandparents are Bhikhabhai and Babuben and Baldevbhai and Jayostnaben.
