LAKE MILLS, Iowa — The Lake Mills wrestling team wrapped up its regular season on Thursday with a 36-28 win over rival Forest City.
Each team won seven matches, but the No. 13 Bulldogs (24-5) notched five falls to the Indians’ two.
“Our kids did a great job picking up pins and not getting pinned,” Bulldogs coach Alex Brandenburg said. “This is one area we have improved upon a lot compared to past years and even compared to the beginning of the year.”
Brandenburg also said the Bulldogs reached its team goal of 24 wins.
“I am so happy with the progress our kids have made,” he said.
