Scholarships to be offered

Normanna Lodge No. 52 of the Sons of Norway is offering one $2,000 scholarship to one per person, with a 3.5 grade point average on a scale of 4.0 who has completed at least two years of college and intends to enroll in a program that leads to a Concentration in Norwegian Studies.

Norwegian Studies includes things such as arts, crafts, history,. international studies, language, literature, music, folklore, mythology, women, etc.

The money will be paid to the recipient’s college on Dec. 1 after a statement is received From the college indicating enrollment in a Norwegian Studies program. The student has no obligation to Normanna Lodge following acceptance of the scholarship.

Application blanks may be requested from the address below.

Your completed application should be postmarked by April 15, 2012.

Please request your college to send a transcript of your credits to the below address, also postmarked by April 15, 2012.

The money used for these scholarships has been given by Shirley M. Bartholomew, Bertha Weiks, and other members and friends of Normanna Lodge.
