Jenna Brackey, of Twin Lakes, and Matthew Hauan, of Lake Mills, Iowa, were married at 4 p.m. on Oct. 8, 2011, at Emmons Lutheran Church. The Rev. Julie Fiske performed the ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Todd and Joanne Brackey, of Twin Lakes. The bride’s grandparents are Earl and Dorothy Towne, of Emmons, and the late Ervin Hovland and Parnell and Marge Brackey, of Emmons.

Parents of the groom are Tamara and John Henthorne, of Kiester, and Mike and Robin Hauan, of Scarville, Iowa. The groom’s grandparents are Glen Fure, of Kiester, the late Gladys Fure and Marjorie Hauan, of Scarville, Iowa, and Myron and Luann Hauan, of Fort Worth, Texas.

Maid of honor was Katie Brackey, sister of bride, of Conger. Bridesmaids were Jill Waite, cousin of the bride, of Eagan, Lindsay Christenson, friend of the couple, of Maple Plain, Lanae Lenz, friend of the couple, of St. Paul, Emily Nelson, friend of the couple, of Glenville, Jolene Helgeson, friend of the couple, of Lake Mills, Iowa, and Leslie Ignaszewski, friend of the couple, of Easton.

Flower girls were Olivia Dalton and Nora Waite, godchildren of the bride, of Eagan.

Best man was Brad Helgeson, friend of the couple, of Lake Mills, Iowa. The bride graduated from Albert Lea in 2004 and the Minnesota State University, Mankato, in 2011 with a degree in dental hygiene. She works at Family Dental Care in Lake Mills.

The groom graduated from Lake Mills in 2002 and the Minnesota State University, Mankato, in 2008 with a degree in sports management. He works at Lake Mills Motor Sports and farms with his family.

Afer a wedding trip to Aruba in November, the couple lives in Lake Mills.
