Eli Malimanek scored the game-winning goal on Thursday in the Albert Lea boys’ hockey team’s triple-overtime win at New Prague.

Malimanek tied the game at 1-1 with a goal in the third period, and after two scoreless overtimes, scored 50 seconds into third to send the No. 7-seeded Tigers into a Section 1A semifinals matchup with No. 3 Northfield.

The Tigers play the Raiders at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Rochester Recreation Center.
