A Taste of Heritage festival to be held Saturday

The third annual A Taste of Heritage will be held at the Northbridge Mall from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday. Discover Albert Lea’s diverse heritage from today, yesterday and tomorrow. There will be free live entertainment, displays of heritage, food samples and games for the kids.

Entertainment includes St. Theodore’s Aztec Dancers, Halverson Early Morning Singers, Bob Bailey and a Sudanese dance performance.

The festival is sponsored by the City of Albert Lea Human Rights Commission, Riverland Community College Multicultural Services, Albert Lea Convention & Visitors Bureau, Freeborn County Historical Museum and Pioneer Village and the Alliance for Educational Equity. Special thanks goes to the Freeborn County Communities Foundation for their financial support of A Taste of Heritage.
