Daniel L. Smith and Amanda K. Johnson of Clarks Grove announce the birth of a son, Ruxin Robert Smith, on Feb. 24, 2012, in Albert Lea. Ruxin weighed 9 pounds, 5 ounces and was 22 inches long. He joins sibling, Dayton Smith.

Grandparents are Bob and Jean Smith of Clarks Grove, Kristy Johnson of Alden, and Mark Johnson of Bricelyn.

Great-grandparents are Patricia Linnes of Albert Lea, Harriet Ehrich of Blue Earth, Roger and Eileen Johnson of Bricelyn and Kathy and Ora Keever of Albert Lea.

 

Mike and Nikki Schmidt of Albert Lea announce the birth of a daughter, Haylee Christina Schmidt, on Feb. 9, 2012, in Albert Lea. Haylee weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces and was 19 1/4 inches long. She joins a sibling, Kayla Schmidt.

Grandparents are Dick and Dee Osmundson and Duane and Chris Schmidt all of Albert Lea. Great-grandparents are Lee and Betty Abben of Albert Lea.
