Stacey Sonnek and Eric Neubauer announce their engagement.

Parents of the bride are Ron and Cindy Sonnek of Freeborn. Grandparents of the bride are Lorraine and the late Lee Dillavou of Freeborn and Bernice Sonnek and the late Joseph Sonnek of Wells.

Parents of the groom are Tom and Carol Neubauer of Wells. Grandparents of the groom are Darlene and the late Chester Pyzick of Wells and the late James and Eleanor Neubauer of Wells.

Stacey is a 2006 graduate of United South Central High School and a 2009 graduate of Riverland Community College with a diploma in practical nursing. Stacey is currently employed at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea.

Eric is a 2003 graduate of United South Central High School and a 2006 graduate of Riverland Community College with an Associate of Science degree in law enforcement. Eric is employed with the Wells Police Department.

The couple plans to wed on June 16, 2012, at St. Casimir’s Catholic Church in Wells. A reception and dance will follow the ceremony at the Verizon Wireless Center in Mankato.
