Two local senior boys’ basketball players were named Associated Press All-State honorable mentions on Tuesday. Albert Lea’s Kyle Ooms, left, was given the honor after leading the Tigers in scoring and rebounding this season. He finished his career with the third-most points in school history. United South Central’s Kyle Bauman, right, led the state in rebounding this season, averaging 14.7 per game. He also averaged 19.5 points, 3.5 blocks and 2.2 steals per contest, while leading the Rebels to a 24-6 record and appearance in the Section 2AA finals.
