The Hawthorne Elementary School’s choir and the Lakeview Elementary School’s choir together performed two songs at the Taste of Heritage cultural festival at Northbridge Mall on April 1. Their songs, “We’re All Children of the World” and “A Song of Peace,” were songs that reflected a cultural and world unity theme. “A Song of Peace” included sign language by the Lakeview choir and soloists from the Hawthorne choir. The students were directed by their elementary music teachers, Roxanne Irons and Sherry Seberson.
