A.L. Salvation Army to provide lunches for all eligible children

The Salvation Army of Freeborn County is participating in the Summer Food Service Program through the Minnesota Department of Education Food and Nutrition Service. Free lunch meals will be provided to all eligible children. An eligible child for these open sites is identified as any child ages 3 to 18 years of age and living in Freeborn County.

Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided at the following sites and times: The Salvation Army Meal Site tent, 217 W. College St., Albert Lea, from June 4 through Aug. 31, Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and Youth For Christ’s The Rock, 116 W Clark St., Albert Lea, from June 5 through Aug. 31, Monday through Friday from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m.
