Alissa Abrams, the daughter of Bruce and Patty Anderson of Lake Mills, Iowa, and Mitch Jenson, son of Claire and Charlene Jenson of Albert Lea, announce their engagement.

Alissa is a graduate of Lake Mills High School and of the North Iowa Area Community College nursing program. She is employed with Rochester Public Schools as a nurse for Kellogg Middle School in Rochester and as a nurse at Mayo Clinic Health System in Owatonna.

Mitch is a graduate of Albert Lea High School. He retired in October 2009 after 24 years with the United States Marine Corps. He is employed with the Rochester Police Department.

A wedding is planned for June 23 at Green Lea Golf Course.
