The Albert Lea Art Center is pleased to welcome Jerry Noland as this month’s speaker at the Godtland Lecture Series at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Art Center. Noland’s presentation is a photo synopsis of his 10-month solo sailing adventure aboard his 30-foot Catalina Keel boat. Originating in the Bahamas in October of 2010, Noland sailed to ports up the Atlantic coast, through the Hudson River and into the Great Lakes.

Admission is free and open to the public for all monthly Godtland Lecture Series events which are held the third Thursday of each month, April through December.
