Once again our nurses have taken to the streets saying that negotiations are dragging and their pay and benefits lag behind other Mayo nurses working only 20 or 30 miles away. Mayo should offer the same health care benefits to all their employees no matter where they work in the system. As the largest employer in the county, Mayo sets the tone for other employers. If management does not work cooperatively with the nurses who do the majority of their work, how does that affect the quality of our health care here?
