Emma Anderson and Mark Habben announce their engagement.

Emma is the daughter of John and Kim Anderson of Gig Harbor, Wash. Grandparents are Bob and the late Mary Schriefer of Bremerton, Wash., and Alyce and the late Carl Logan Anderson of Lacey, Wash.

Mark is the son of Darv and Marcia Habben of Albert Lea. Grandparents are Rod and Arlene Rollins of Waldorf and the late Herbert and Eileen Habben of Buffalo Lake.

Emma is a 2005 graduate of Eveleth-Gilbert High School in Eveleth and a graduate of University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, with an elementary education degree. She is a substitute teacher and server at Wedgewood Cove Golf Club.

Mark is a 1999 graduate of Albert Lea High School and a graduate of St. Cloud University with a real estate insurance and finance degree. He is employed at Crossroads Trailer.

A wedding is planned for Aug. 10, 2012, in Negril, Jamaica.
