A fundraiser to send care packages to soldiers will start in Albert Lea Saturday. The fundraiser is a motorcycle ride starting at Bergdale’s Harley-Davidson in Albert Lea with registration from 10 to 11 a.m.

The ride will leave around 11 a.m. and end around 4 p.m. at the American Legion in Waseca, at 700 S. State St. with a dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. There will be stops in Hayfield and Owatonna before the ride ends in Waseca.

Then there will be a disc jockey from 6:30 p.m. to closing time. Cost is $20 per rider and $10 per passenger, which includes dinner. Dinner without riding is $5. There is no charge for soldiers with a current military identification. There will be a silent auction and door prizes at the Legion.
