Marie Kahnke and Patrick Hicks together with their parents, John and Cammy Kahnke of Janesville and Marlin and Lynn Hicks of Wells, are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Marie is a 2008 graduate of Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton High School and a 2012 graduate of North Central University in Minneapolis. She is currently employed at Barnes and Noble in the Mall of America.

Patrick is a 2007 graduate of United South Central High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. He is currently employed at Wells Fargo Bank and Brio Publishing.

A wedding is planned at the Historic Wesley Church in Minneapolis on Sept. 1.
