Jesse and Sara Rooney of Ham Lake announce the birth of a son, Camden Leo Rooney, on May 29, 2012, at Mercy Hospital, Coon Rapids. Camden weighed 9 pounds and was 21 1/2 inches long. He joins siblings, Easton and Ryland.

Justina Barber and Derrick Edwards of Albert Lea announce the birth of a daughter, Sophia Rose Edwards, on Aug. 4, 2012, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea. Sophia weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces and was 20 inches long. She joins sisters: Breanna, 7, and Derrick Jr., 6.

Meghan Beighley and Jake Miranda of Albert Lea announce the birth of a daughter, Emma Rachel Beighley, on July 22, 2012, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea. Emma weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long.

Grandparents are Mick and Jane Beighley of Albert Lea and Mark and Cindy Miranda of Albert Lea. Great-grandparents are Betty Abben and the late Leland Abben and Dorothy Beighley and the late Elvin Beighley.

Travis and Stacy Simon of Geneva announce the birth of a son, Parker Brandt Simon, on Aug. 1, 2012, in Albert Lea. Parker weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long.
