The Albert Lea-Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce is again looking for photo submissions for its annual ornament contest.

Freeborn County residents can submit up to two scenic Albert Lea or Freeborn County pictures from Sept. 4 through 17. Submissions will be numbered and posted for voting in the chamber office and online at the chamber’s website at a later date.

The picture with the most votes will be featured on the 2012 Chamber Christmas ornament, which is a three-inch, round, full-color ceramic ornament.

Winning photos in previous years have included the fountains on Fountain Lake, downtown Albert Lea, Katherine Island in the winter, and Albert Lea Lake, among others.

To participate, people can drop off 4-by-6-inch photos at the chamber office in the Northbridge Mall or email them to operations@albertlea.org. They can also be mailed to 2580 Bridge Ave., Albert Lea.

This is the 12th year for the contest. Pictures will not be returned and may be used for other publications. Photos cannot include people.

The person who took the winning photo will win a gift basket of donated items from area businesses.
