Dennis Arendt and Pat Arendt of Albert Lea and Arne and Ann Low of Northwood announce the engagement of their children, Brittany Lynne Arendt and Tom Anthony Low.

Grandparents of Brittany are Pat Rusch and the late Lyle Rusch of Goodhue and the late Leonard and Bertha Arendt of Bellchester.

Grandparents of Tom are the late Arley and Audrey Thompson of Kensett, Iowa, and the late Russell and Dorothy Low of Northwood.

Brittany is a 2004 graduate of Albert Lea High School and a 2012 graduate of NIACC with an Associate of Arts Degree in Mason City. She is currently attending Vista University for a bachelor’s degree in marketing and human resources management.

Tom is a 2003 graduate of Northwood Senior High School and attended NIACC in Mason City. He is employed at Agri-Sales in Northwood.

A wedding is planned for Aug. 18 at St. Theodore Catholic Church in Albert Lea.
