Bryan and Linda Cox of Estelline, S.D., and Bob and Sandy Bera of Albert Lea announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Cox, and son, Stephen Bera.

Laura grew up in Estelline, S.D., and is a 2012 graduate of South Dakota State University in Brookings, S.D.

Stephen is a 2008 graduate of Albert Lea High School. Laura and Stephen met in Brookings while both were attending college there.

Laura is currently employed at the Town & Country Shopper in Brookings as an office assistant. Stephen is currently employed at Buffalo Wild Wings in Brookings as a manager.

The sunset ceremony will take place Sept. 7 at the bride’s parent’s home on the shores of Lake Poinsett near Estelline, S.D. A celebration open house in honor of Laura and Stephen’s union of their lives and their families will be on Sept. 8 at the Estelline American Legion from 1 to 5 p.m.
