Man arrested for DWI

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Brent Thomas Legried for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at 12:10 a.m. Sunday on Freeborn County Road 46 west of Chapeau Drive.

 

Man arrested for assault

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Lucas Michael Wangsness for domestic assault and third-degree assault at 5:12 p.m. Sunday at 481 North Alden Road. Wangsness was arrested after local authorities received word from the Wells Police Department about the alleged assault.

 

1 injured in crash

One person was transported by ambulance to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea after a crash on Friday near the intersection of East Main Street and Prospect Avenue.

According to reports, the crash took place at 1:13 p.m.

No other information was available as of press time.

 

Man arrested for registration violation

Police arrested Randy Lee Morrow, 46, for a predatory offender registration violation at 3:10 p.m. Friday at 621 E. Eighth St., Albert Lea, according to reports.

 

Man arrested for disorderly conduct

Police arrested Hiram Abel Rodriguez Reyes, 26, for disorderly conduct and obstructing justice after police received an open 911 phone call of a verbal domestic dispute at 321 James Ave. at 8:13 p.m. Friday, according to reports.

 

Woman arrested for drug possession

Police arrested Jessica Lynn Armstrong, 24, for fifth-degree drug possession after a traffic stop at 12:15 a.m. Saturday on the 700 block of Jefferson Avenue. According to reports, police also cited Matthew Howard Humphrey, 30, for driving after revocation and no insurance.

 

Batteries stolen

Batteries were reported taken from a combine at 84312 180th St., Hayward, at 12:47 p.m. Friday, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.

 

Damage reported in Glenville

A window was reported broken out of a Ford pickup at 141 First Ave. NW in Glenville at 2:57 p.m. Friday, the Sheriff’s Office stated.

An advertising sign was reported stolen from 290 W. Main St. in Glenville at 12:35 p.m. Saturday, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
