Bumpouts? C’mon, seriously? We don’t need them. They are ridiculous! We have wide enough sidewalks and have had them ever since I was a kid 60-plus years ago. I’m uptown a lot, and I don’t see them crowded at all. We need the room to turn the corners. Don’t need it taken away. What will happen when it snows? The city will have to plow those streets differently, and I don’t see that happening.

Please throw this stupid idea out. Please take them away. Take the money and beautify the area with new fronts on the businesses and windows and doors instead.
