Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies cited Michael John Boone for burning violations at 2:04 p.m. Friday after receiving a report of a fire at 69411 Freeborn County Road 46, Alden.

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office issued a suspension on all permit burning late Wednesday afternoon in anticipation of dry conditions and high winds.

The suspension applies to fires that are larger than recreational fires and for which a permit is required.

Items dumped in driveway

A couch and electronics were reported dumped in a driveway at 74789 270th St., Clarks Grove, at 1:53 p.m. Saturday, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.
