Teen gets 8 years for St. Paul gang rape

ST. PAUL — A judge has sentenced a 17-year-old to eight years in prison for his role in the gang rape of a 14-year-old girl in St. Paul last year.
The defendant also will have to register as a sex offender.
The 17-year-old pleaded guilty in July to charges of conspiring to rape the girl and to having committed the crime for the benefit of a gang.
