The Naeve Health Care Foundation recently toured the wound care and hyperbaric medicine services department at Mayo Clinic Health System. Presenters at the tour were staff members Dr. Martha Millman and Cher Habana.

A portion of the foundation’s 2012 gift to the medical center purchased the hyperbaric chambers. The chambers are used to deliver hyperbaric oxygen therapy to wounds that fail to heal through conventional treatment. The foundation wants to ensure patients continue to have local access to the latest medical technology, said Dr. Ted Myers, Naeve Health Care Foundation president.

The foundation invites the public to Mission Possible, a community gathering that will explain who the foundation is, what it does, why it exists, and where the money goes.
