Marvin Christianson, 85, of Hartland, received injuries that were not life-threatening after the vehicle he was in collided with another at 10:30 a.m. Friday.

The driver of the other vehicle, 32-year-old Eric Degen of New Richland, received no injuries. The crash occurred near the intersection of Minnesota Highway 13 and Sunset Street. Christianson was traveling west on Sunset Street, and Degen was traveling north on Highway 13. Road conditions were icy, according to the State Patrol.

Christianson was driving a 2012 Dodge Avenger. Degen was driving a 2007 International 7000. Both were wearing seat belts.

The Albert Lea Police Department and Minnesota State Patrol responded to the crash.
