Wedding: Brackey & Lenz

Katie Brackey and Derek Lenz, of Conger, were married at 4 p.m. July 2, 2012, at First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea. The Rev. Julie Fiske performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride’s parents are Todd and Joanne Brackey of Twin Lakes. Grandparents are Earl and Dorothy Towne and Parnell and Marge Brackey, all of Emmons.
The groom’s parents are Lonny and Laurie Lenz of Albert Lea. Grandparent is Helene Westrum of Albert Lea.
Matron of honor was Jenna Hauan, sister of the bride, of Lake Mills. Bridesmaids were Jill Waite, LaNae Lenz, Lindsay Christenson, Jenni Hanna, Kelsey Ellis and Fallon Lorenzen.
Flower girls were Tianna Boyd, niece of the groom, Olivia Dalton and Nora Wall, godchildren of the bride.
Best man was Jason Lenz, brother of the groom, of Albert Lea. Groomsmen were Andy Yocom, Ryan Mathis, Brandon Brackey, Seth Stadheim, Jon Wadding and Rich Mathis.
Ring bearer was Caleb Westrum, cousin of the groom.
Ushers were Matt Hauan, Shane Chopek, Adam Drescher, Matt Drescher and Justin Krueger.
Musician was Jenny Ordalen, friend of the couple. Personal attendants were Deloris Lenz and Leslie Ignaszewski. Host and hostess were Kirk and Judy Burgett and Craig and Karen Westrum.
Readers were Rochelle Quam and Chuck Westrum.
The bride is a graduate of Albert Lea High School and the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She is employed at EAC Products and Solutions. The groom is a graduate of Glenville-Emmons High School and is employed at Freeborn County Co-op and farms with his family.
A reception was held at America’s Best Value Inn in Albert Lea.
A trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, was taken in January.
