Allison and Ryan Kuhlman were married at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 8 at First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea. The double-ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. John Holt.

Parents of the bride are Gene and Ann Arnold of Albert Lea. Grandparents are Gene and Wanda Arnold of Carlos and Jack and Orlene Woodside of Albert Lea.

Parents of the groom are Roger and Deb Kuhlman of Lewisville. Grandparents are Lil Kuhlman and the late Merrill Kuhlman of Lewisville and the late Leo and Marian Caven of Vernon Center.

Maid of honor was Kari Penske, friend of the bride, of Vesta. Bridesmaids were Brooke Arnold, sister of the bride, of Albert Lea, Sarah Kuhlman, sister of the groom, of Lewisville, Amanda Kuhlman, sister of the groom, of Lewisville, Megan Bergemann, friend of the bride, of Trimont and Jordan (Claussen) Nelson, friend of the bride, of Mabel.

Best man was Jacob Doyen, friend of the groom, of Good Thunder. Groomsmen were Kevin Froslan, friend of the groom, of Albert Lea, Nathan Rolling, friend of the groom, of Truman, Luke Arnold, brother of the bride, of Albert Lea, Chris Bivens, friend of the groom, of Omaha and Michael Altenburg, friend of the groom, of Lewisville.

Ushers were Marcus Lee, friend of the groom, of Ceylon, Thomas Low, friend of the groom, of Iowa, and Chris Pope, friend of the groom, of Pierre, S.D.

The soloist was Brock Besse.

Personal attendant was Laurie (Seltun) Schultz, friend of the bride, of Owatonna. Host and hostesses were Paul and Robbi Woodside, uncle and aunt of the bride and Vince and Judy Pentico, uncle and aunt of the groom. Guest book attendant was Bryn Woodside, cousin of the bride. Scripture reader was Dan Woodside, uncle of the bride.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Albert Lea High School and a 2010 graduate of South Dakota State University. She is employed as a national sales administrator for Tecta America in Mankato.

The groom is a 2006 graduate of Truman High School and a 2010 graduate of South Dakota State University. He is employed as a sales agronomist for Genesis Co-op in Le Center.

A reception was held at America’s Best Value Inn in Albert Lea following the ceremony. The couple vacationed to San Diego, Calif.
