Jaime Schwandt and Jeremiah Jean of Albert Lea announced the birth of a daughter, Jayla May Jean, on Oct. 2, 2012, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea. Jayla weighed 6 pounds, 3 ounces and was 18 1/2 inches long.

Grandparents are Julie Jean, of Albert Lea, and Chuck Jean of Waterloo, Iowa, Trish Smith, of Buffalo, and Dwayne Smith, of Rochester. Great-grandparents are Joey and the late Harry Rahn of Albert Lea, Robert and Dee Schwandt, of Florida, Harvey and Karen Cotten, of Rochester, and Red and the late Marylis Jean, of Albert Lea.

 

Tim and Elizabeht Poeschl of Bloomington announce the birth of a son, Isaac Joshua Poeschl, on Feb. 10, 2013, at Abbott Hospital in Minneapolis. Isaac weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long. He joins siblings Hannah and Caleb.

Grandparents are Dr. Steven and Janet Poeschl of Alden and Tom and Pam Snyder of Eden Prairie.

 

Nicole and Brian Weis of Rochester announce the birth of a son, Carter Samuel Weis on Nov. 18, 2012, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester. Carter weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long.

Grandparents are Dana and Natalie Nelson of Glenville and Keith and Margaret Weis of Andover.

 

Lacey Pederson and Jason Sajdak of Albert Lea announce the birth of a daughter, Livia Joy Sajdak, on Jan. 17, 2013, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea. Livia was 6 pounds, 9 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long. She joins siblings Kameron, Keegan and Korben.

Kurtis and Rebecca Vanderploeg of Albert Lea announce the birth of a daughter, Fiona Lynn Vanderploeg, on Feb. 15, 2013, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea. Fiona weighed 8 pounds, 15 ounces and was 22 inches long. She joins sibling Landon.
