Alfredo and Ruth Obregon of Albert Lea announce the birth of a son, Freddy Uriel Obregon, on Feb. 22, 2013, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea. Freddy weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches long. He joins siblings Karla and Brizzeyda.

Grandparents are Gabriela Reyna of Albert Lea and Jorge Gutierrez of San Antonio, Texas.

 

The Rev. Mark and Amalie Niethammer of Albert Lea announce the birth of a daughter, Julia Astrid Niethammer, on Jan. 8, 2013, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea. Julia weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Grandparents are Mark and Joan Neumann of Colby, Wis., and Thomas and Elizabeth Niethammer of Sheridan, Wyo.

Great-grandparents are Gordon and Patricia Lofgren of McFarland, Wis., Dorothy and the late George Neumann of San Diego, Calif., Fred and Keigh Niethammer of Casper, Wyo., and the late Fremont and Bernice Miller of Crowheart, Wyo.
