DULUTH — Even though the calendar says spring, the National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for northern Minnesota.

The spring storm has produced about 8 inches of snow in Two Harbors, 6 inches in Breckenridge and 5 1/2 inches in Park Rapids.

The state Department of Transportation reported difficult driving conditions across northern Minnesota Monday. The storm caused major travel disruptions Sunday.
