T-storm has passed New Richland

A weather spotter reported a funnel cloud near Wells, according to initial reports. It never reached the ground, and the severe thunderstorm has passed the New Richland area.
The National Weather Service said the storm carried the possibility of dime-size hail.
The statement said it was 16 northwest of Albert Lea at 3:18 p.m. and 25 miles north of Lake Mills. The storm was moving at 25 mph. Spotters at 3:45 reported the storm passing through southern Waseca County without damage.
Meanwhile, a house fire has been reported in Winnebago County south of Emmons. A reporter is on the way to the scene.
