Beth and Roque Calderon Medrano of Albert Lea, announce the birth of a daughter, Viviana Mary Calderon Medrano, on Aug. 26, 2013, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester. Viviana weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce and was 20 1/2 inches long. She joins siblings Desiree, Destiny and Dominic. Grandparents are Bill and Mary Guggisberg of Freeborn and Pedro Medrano of Albert Lea. Great-grandparents are Grace Lamb of Brownsdale and Agnes Medrano of Gibbon.

 

Lisa Marie Rogers and Tommy Melendez of Albert Lea, announce the birth of a son, August Tommy Melendez, on Aug. 31, 2013, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea. August weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. He joins siblings Andreya and Arrion. Grandparents are Minna, Linda and William Melendez and Monica and Mario Baltazar.

 

Cole and Nicole Thompson of Minneapolis, announce the birth of a daughter, Elinor Jean Thompson, on Aug. 30, 2013, at the University of Minnesota Fairview in Minneapolis. Elinor weighed 8 pounds, 15 ounces and was 21 1/4 inches long. Grandparents are Mark and Andrea Stotts of Albert Lea, Robert and Dori Etheridge of Albert Lea and Mark and Jackie Thompson of Glenville. Great-grandparents are Rex and Lois Stotts of Albert Lea, Orlo and Jean Willmert of Albert Lea and Marvin and Maryann Thompson of Glenville. Great-great-grandmother is Elinor Stotts of Albert Lea.
