Assaults reported over weekend

Albert Lea police received a report over the weekend of a person who was reportedly assaulted by a male while meeting at Morin Park to purchase an Xbox that he had found on Facebook.
Also, a man was reported assaulted at Harold’s Bar, 1318 E. Main St., at 1:04 a.m. Saturday.
Tires reported slashed
Tires were reported slashed on two vehicles at the Albert Lea Family Y, 2021 W. Main St., on Sunday night.
Vehicle reported damaged
GLENVILLE — A pickup was reported damaged overnight Thursday at 351 Second St. S.W. in Glenville. A mirror was broken, a door was keyed and something was spray-painted on the vehicle, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.
Black birds found in yard
A person living at 71061 255th St., Manchester, reported coming home from church Sunday morning and finding a bunch of dead black birds in his yard.
Items reported stolen in county
An air compressor was reported stolen from 22784 850th Ave. (County Road 30) on Friday afternoon. The theft reportedly took place within previous 10 days.
A deer tree stand was reported stolen from 87672 235th St., Oakland, at 3:35 p.m. Sunday.
A pair of sunglasses and a $5 bill were reported stolen from a garage and shed at 705 Garfield Ave. at 9 a.m. Sunday, police stated.
Two TVs, two phones, three movies, a DVD player and a large blue tote were reported stolen from Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave., on Friday afternoon. The theft reportedly took place the day before.
Corn dryer on fire
GLENVILLE — A corn dryer at 12672 810th Ave., Glenville, was reportedly on fire at 4:02 a.m. today, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
