Wells crash victim identified

WELLS — One person died in a rollover crash on state Highway 109 two miles east of Wells early this morning, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Barbara Hagen, 65, of Wells, died after her 1999 Saturn SC2 rolled over on the highway around 7 a.m. Thursday. The State Patrol report said Hagen passed away at 7:44 a.m. Thursday.
No other cars were involved in the crash. The State Patrol report said the woman was not wearing a seat belt.
The State Patrol report said the car was traveling westbound on Highway 109 when it crossed both lanes and rolled into the ditch.
The State Patrol initially said a man had died, but its report was later updated with new information.
The car was totaled in the rollover, the State Patrol reports. The Patrol also reported that road conditions were dry at the time of the incident.
The Wells Police Department, Faribault County Sheriff’s Office and Minnesota State Patrol all responded to the crash.
