The Worth County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a student who was out of control Friday morning at the Northwood-Kensett school.
Administrators reported a male student in his teens was acting out.
Jesse Luther, a sergeant with the Worth County Sheriff’s Office, said no weapon was displayed or ever in the student’s possession that the officers know of.
Luther said he thought the incident was resolved because the student left the school before officers even arrived. He also said the school took precautions with the other students to ensure their safety just in case the situation had gotten worse.
“It turned out to be really nothing,” Luther said.
