Christmas Tour of Homes fundraiser for county museum planned for Saturday
Three homes, a bed and breakfast and the newly built county museum addition are on the Christmas Tour of Homes coming up this weekend.
Tickets are $15, and proceeds go to the Freeborn County Historical Museum’s building fund.
Those with tickets can start at any location and visit them in any order from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday.
The homes on the tour include a property owned by Brad and Nancy Wright on Wright Drive, Brad and Jody Kirchner’s home on Vine Avenue and Pat and Arnie Mulso’s home on Richway Drive. The Czech Inn, a bed and breakfast near Hayward, is also on the tour. The county museum will be decorated for Christmas, and people can tour both the new addition and exhibits in the older part of the building.
Tickets are available in advance at Addie’s Floral & Gifts, the Mary-Go-Round Shoppe, the Albert Lea Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Albert Lea-Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce. Tickets are available at the museum in advance and on the day of the tour.
