Wedding: Luna & Pallardy

Chelsie Lynn Luna, formerly of Albert Lea, and Joseph Martin Pallardy, formerly of Naperville, Ill., were married at 2 p.m. Aug. 31, 2013, at St. Theodore Catholic Church. The Rev. Timothy Reker performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Urban Luna of Clarks Grove and Melinda and Dwight Penhollow of Albert Lea. Grandparents are Gloria Luna of Hollandale and Jim and Sue Broskoff of Albert Lea.
The groom is the son of Joe and Catherine Pallardy of Naperville. Grandparents are Lucille Newman of Glendale, Ill., and Patricia Phee of Scottsdale, Ariz.
The maid of honor was Courtney Springborg, friend of the bride, of Albert Lea. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Pallardy, sister of the groom, of Naperville, Missy Luna, cousin of the bride, of Mankato, and Candace Tepfer, friend of the bride, of Long Prairie. Flower girl was Sydnie Penhollow, daughter of Melinda and Dwight Penhollow, of Albert Lea.
The best man was Mark Pallardy of Naperville, brother of the groom, of Naperville. Groomsmen were Nick Luna, brother of the bride, of New Ulm. Ring bearer was Colton Pallardy, son of the bride and groom, of Circle Pines.
Musicians were Jody Blang and Christopher Sazzi.
Personal attendant was Sara Jo Schaper, cousin of the bride, of Albert Lea.
Readers were Rachael Ingalls, aunt of the bride, of Waseca, and Amber Olson, cousin of the bride, of Hollandale.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of Albert Lea High School and a 2013 graduate of Rasmussen College in Maple Grove with a degree in nursing. She is employed at Skin Speaks: Advancements in Dermatology in Edina.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville and a 2008 graduate of Winona State University with a degree in biology. He received his master’s degree from Minnesota State University Mankato in 2011. He is employed at Respec Consulting & Services in Roseville.
A reception was held at Wedgewood Cove Golf Club following the wedding. The couple resides in Circle Pines. A wedding trip will be taken to Costa Rica in March.
