Wedding: Thompson & Rauenhorst

Megan Thompson and Michael Rauenhorst of Albert Lea were married at 4 p.m. Sept. 14, 2013, at Central Freeborn Lutheran Church. The Rev. Matt Griggs performed the double-ring ceremoy.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Karla Thompson of Albert Lea. Grandparents are Gene and Andrea Thompson of Freeborn and Susan Kraushaar of Albert Lea.
The groom is the son of Mark and Teri Rauenhorst of Albert Lea. Grandparents are Janice Morriem of Albert Lea and Darlene Rauenhorst of Glenville.
The maid of honor was Rachel Wood, friend of the bride, of Albert Lea. Bridesmaids were Brooke Thompson, sister of the bride, of Albert Lea, Michelle Felt, friend of the bride, of Lake Charles, La., Desiree Hensche, friend of the bride, of Albert Lea, and Aleah Roberts, friend of the bride, of Albert Lea. Flower girls were Victoria Lustey, cousin of the groom and daughter of Pam and Jon Lustey, of Shoreview, and Alyssa Johnson, friend of the bride and daughter of Crystal Johnson, of Albert Lea.
Best man was Eric Volkman, friend of the groom, of Albert Lea. Groomsmen were Travis Rauenhorst, brother of the groom, of Albert Lea, Michael Kelley, friend of the groom, of Albert Lea, Casey Schroader, friend of the groom, of Albert Lea and Michael Adams, friend of the groom, of Mankato. Ring bearer was Jordan Johnson, friend of the bride and son of Crystal Johnson, of Albert Lea.
Ushers were Adam Raymond, friend of the groom, of Glenville, Darren Sonnek, friend of the groom, of Albert Lea, and Scott Morriem, uncle of the groom, of Albert Lea.
Music was by Michael Adams of Grizzly Sound of Mankato.
Host and hostess were Larry and Lynne Anderson of Albert Lea and Kurt and Cindy Smeby of Austin.
Personal attendants were Jamie Axsmith and Elissa Goskenson, both of Albert Lea.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of Albert Lea High School and a 2012 graduate of Riverland Community College with a registered nursing degree. She is employed at Good Samaritan Society.
The groom is a 2008 graduate of Albert Lea High School and a 2012 graduate of Riverland Community College with a degree in industrial maintenance. He is employed at REG.
A reception followed the ceremony at the Land Between the Lakes Event Center.
The couple took a wedding trip to Orlando, Fla.
