Exposition is all about weddings

The 2014 Bridal Expo aims to offer everything a couple needs for their upcoming wedding, along with many prizes for attendees of the exposition.
It is slated to run from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday at Northbridge Mall.
There will be door prizes and the chance to win a grand prize honeymoon package. The package is a four-day and three-night getaway for two people courtesy of RIU Hotels, Apple Vacations and Certified Travel. A $500 credit towards airfare, taxes and fees will also be donated by the Northbridge Mall.
Three fashion shows will happen at 1 p.m., 2:15 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Friday
• RAHK Karaoke will be at the Albert Lea Moose Club at 7 p.m.
• Megaforce will provide entertainment at the Albert Lea Eagles Club in the evening.
Saturday
• There will be a cribbage tournament at the Albert Lea Eagles Club beginning at 10 a.m. No membership is required.
• A kids program for archery will run from 10 a.m. to noon at 131 S. Newton Ave.
• Boss Grant’s “Tribute to Johnny Cash” will light up the stage at the Marion Ross Performing Arts Center from 7:30 to 9 pm. Tickets are $15.
• The Alden American Legion Club will host a steak fry from 5 to 8 p.m. Cost is $13 for a 10 ounces ribeye steak, baked potato, coleslaw and garlic toast.
• The Albert Lea Eagles Club will host a drive-by cash and aluminum can collection. The event begins at 10 a.m. with a KATE Radio live broadcast, silent auction and food auction, lunch and dinner will be served. Entertainment will be by Butch & Arlen.
• Tom Minehart Karaoke will be at the Albert Lea Moose club at 7 p.m.
Sunday
• The Albert Lea American Legion will host a post breakfast from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Cost is $7,
• Breakfast will be served at the Albert Lea Moose Club from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Cost is $7.
