Frank and Faye Learn of Hayward and Dennis and Jan Harmer of Austin announce the engagement of their children, Michelle Learn and Jeremy Harmer. The bride’s grandparents are Eleanor and the late Vernon Johnson of Austin and the late Donald and Phyllis Learn of London, Minn.

The groom’s grandparents are Rosella and the late Kenneth Nash of Mapleview and the late Raymond and Elsie Harmer of Austin.

The bride is a graduate of Albert Lea High School and Riverland Community College with an associate of arts degree. She is employed at Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin.

The groom is a graduate of Austin High School. He attended Lake Superior College in Duluth and transferred to the University of Minnesota Duluth. He graduated from Riverland Community College with an automotive degree. He is employed at Predictive Technologies in Austin.

A May 31, 2014, wedding is planned in Hayward.
