Albert Lea officer Adam Conn was transported by ambulance to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea at 1:14 p.m. Thursday for minor injuries after his squad car was reportedly rear-ended by another vehicle at the intersection of Garfield Avenue and East Main Street. No other information was available as of press time.

 

3 arrested for drunken driving

Albert Lea police arrested Brody Allen Grunwald, 26, for second-degree driving while intoxicated at 11:57 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Main Street and Ulstad Avenue.

Police arrested Michael Jerome Kortz, 51, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated at 12:05 a.m. Friday near the intersection of Maplehill Drive and Plainview Lane.

Police arrested Tanya Marie Gomez, 31, for third-degree driving while intoxicated at 10:35 p.m. Friday at 620 Larimore Circle.
