ST. PAUL — All three of United South Central’s first-round matches involved a fall Friday at the Xcel Center.

Dylan Herman of USC pinned Ethan Kimber of Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale in 1 minute and 36 seconds at 145 pounds.

Colten Carlson beat Ari Harnitz of Lake Crystal/Wellcome Memorial in 3 minutes and 38 seconds at 182 pounds.

Harvey Friedrichs of Chatfield gave the Rebels their lone setback at 152 pounds. He pinned USC’s Derek Herman in 2 minutes and 55 seconds.

Dylan and Carlson will compete in the quarterfinals at 4:30 p.m. today.
