Seven youth wrestlers from Albert Lea competed at the Minnesota/USA kids and cadets state folkstyle tournament March 7 and 8 at Rochester Community and Technical College, according to a press release.

Kail Wynia of Albert Lea was the fourth-grade champion. Teammates Nick Korman and Joey Flores took third. Korman is in first grade and Flores is in fifth.

Other qualifiers were third-graders Cole Glazier and Aivin Wasmoen and fifth-graders Caleb Talamantes and Griffin Studier.
