Jay and Wendy Bidne of Emmons anounce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Nicole Bidne, to Garrett Michael Waller. Garrett is the son of Brian and Rhonda Waller and Dan and Suzan Allen, all of Northwood.

The bride is a 2009 graduate of Lake Mills High School. She is employed by Holiday Inn Express and Northwood-Diamond Jo as the front desk supervisor.

The groom is a 2009 graduate of Northwood-Kensett High School. He is employed as a sales rep with Verizon Wireless in Mason City.

A July 12, 2014, wedding is planned in Albert Lea.
