NRHEG’s Jade Schultz will join Carlie Wagner next season on the University of Minnesota women’s basketball team.
Schultz, a senior guard, broke the 1,000-point barrier as a junior and led the Panthers in rebounding last season.
Wagner signed her national letter of intent on Nov. 13.
“Coach (Pam) Borton has shown increased interest in the last month and has reason to believe that Jade can bring some great assets to the Gopher program in the future,” said NRHEG head coach — and Jade’s father — John Schultz.
The Panthers will play Waterville-Elysian-Morristown in the Section 2AA semifinals at 8 p.m. tonight at Minnesota State, Mankato.
