The Alden-Conger softball team beat Madelia-Truman 13-2 Friday at Truman.
The Knights had no errors and hit well throughout their lineup.
“We really smoked the ball,” said Alden-Conger head coach Gary Nelson. “They were line drives, too. Not any cheap hits.”
Liesel Theusch led the Knights by going 2-for-3 at the plate, including a triple in the fourth inning with the bases loaded.
Jessica Price dominated from the pitching circle for the Knights. Nelson said she never faced more than five batters in an inning.
