The Austin Bruins hockey team has always talked about getting to the Robertson Cup and now that they’ve made it, they’re hoping to make it count.

Austin will play a Robertson Cup three-game semifinal series at Topeka, Kansas, as they take on the Topeka Roadrunners this weekend. The games will be at 7:05 p.m. Friday and Saturday and Game 3 will be at 7:05 p.m. Sunday if it is necessary.

The three-game format puts immense pressure on both teams to take Game 1.

“There’s not a lot of time to regroup and it’s not like we’ll be able to go into practice and fix things,” Austin head coach Chris Tok said.
